Positano Coast, an Aldo Lamberti restaurant, was created to reflect the ambiance, energy and traditions of the Amalfi coast and it has done just that. With a modern twist on classic Italian dishes, Chef Pippo Lamberti brings a quiet sophistication to Philly’s Old City District. Positano Coast has a sleek and progressive open-air design with a cobalt blue floor, dramatically white walls and floor-to ceiling windows. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor and offers two patios and a terrace for al fresco dining. Positano Coast’s Sopra Lounge is a comfortable and stylish place to enjoy a tasty concoction from the restaurant’s organic cocktail menu.
I selected Positano for the review on this site, and was very pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable the experience was. A few notes... 1. Reservations online were easy and received confirmation shortly. 2. I needed to bump up my reservations and they accomodated on short notice. 3. The atmosphere was excellent: clean, open, quiet without being too quiet, and beautiful mediteranean decor. 4. Parking was available outside the front door. 5. The waiter was great - the food was awesome. I would highly recommend, esp for groups.
Great menu and delightful ambiance
