Nan

Recommended Restaurant Nan restaurant is a true testament to the diversity and complexity of Philadelphia’s culinary landscape. Nan is located near University City, and although its location on 40th and Chestnut is certainly not bustling with restaurants and bars, Nan is a destination spot worth traveling to. Through tactfully marrying classic European and traditional Thai cuisines, chef/owner Kamol Phutlek achieves true gastronomic modernity. One small dining room, minimalist in style and casually elegant in demeanor, provides an atmosphere perfectly conducive to long conversations and lingering over a fine meal.
