Candice Conway has been torn between food and science since she was a child. Her background includes graduate work in genetics at MIT, managing a bakery, running clinical trials for Merck, pastry chef for 3 restaurants, research on genetic disorders at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, bagel baker, and clown. She currently owns a trendy barbershop and is putting the finishing touches on her cookbook. Her next project: a food blog.
